The interactive maps on this website use map tiles from OpenStreetMap
(tile.openstreetmap.org). In doing so, the visitor’s IP address is transmitted to the
servers of OpenStreetMap. They are only used after explicit consent.

Contact form and FriendlyCaptcha
The contact form at /tools/mitmachen/ uses FriendlyCaptcha to protect against
automated bot submissions. FriendlyCaptcha is a service provided by
Friendly Captcha GmbH, Alt-Moabit 2, 10557 Berlin, Germany.
FriendlyCaptcha works with a cryptographic proof-of-work method: the browser solves a mathematical puzzle in the background, without the user having to solve an image puzzle or enter any information. In the process, the user’s IP address is briefly transmitted to FriendlyCaptcha’s EU servers in order to load the puzzle and verify the solution. According to the provider, the IP address is not stored permanently.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the security of the contact form). Further information can be found in the FriendlyCaptcha privacy policy.
When you submit the contact form, your email address, the subject you entered and the message text are also transmitted to the editorial team of the Stadtwiki Baden-Baden and delivered by email. This data is used solely to process your enquiry and is not passed on to third parties.
