Krone Zigarren is a specialist cigar shop on Sophienstraße in Baden-Baden. Alongside cigars and smoking accessories it stocks spirits and champagne.[1] Krone Zigarren GmbH runs the shop.[2]
Founding
Valentino Curatolo had worked in the cigar trade for over a decade before deciding at Christmas 2024 to make it a full-time business. An Italian from Rottenburg am Neckar, Curatolo opened the shop on Sophienstraße in April 2025 together with a business partner.[3]
Range
The cigar shelves put Havana classics next to brands such as Horacio, Leonel and Laura Chavin.[3] The shop names Cuba, the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua as countries of origin.[1] Cutters, lighters and ashtrays complete the range.[3]
The spirits run from tequila and vodka through rum to whisky, among them Clase Azul, Beluga, Grey Goose, Suntory Yamazaki, The Balvenie DoubleWood, Talisker, Glendronach, Lagavulin and Laphroaig. The champagnes include Dom Pérignon and Louis Roederer.[4]
The shop
Leather armchairs and cabinets for the accessories furnish the sales room.[3] Customers can smoke their cigar on the spot with a soft drink or a hot drink, and a covered area on the boulevard serves the same purpose outside.[3] The shop holds tastings and cigar evenings regularly.[1]
